"Electroshield-K°" Strengthens the Reliability of "RusHydro's" Nizhne-Bureyskaya HPP
The "Electroshield-K°" plant (part of the "NEC" Group) has supplied a set of instrument transformers for the emergency reserve of "RusHydro's" Nizhne-Bureyskaya HPP.
The transformers were previously installed in the neutral terminals and neutral of the hydrogenerator to ensure high-quality differential and distance protection, as well as in the 220 kV switchgear to block automatic reclosing (AR). More than 10 years of trouble-free operation confirm the transformers' high reliability.
It's worth noting that each transformer is individually designed by the plant's engineers to suit the parameters of the Nizhne-Bureyskaya HPP's generators. These are not standard solutions, but unique products that are perfectly integrated into the plant's relay protection and automation system.
