The largest Russian manufacturer of smart electricity meters, "NARTIS Plant" LLC, and "Kaspersky Lab" have signed an agreement to assess the current state of security of software components of metering devices.

The purpose of the Agreement is to obtain an independent assessment of the current state of security of software components of electricity meters, as well as an assessment of the effectiveness of currently adopted measures and means of protection.

Software for smart meters under the "NARTIS" brand is developed by the IT company "NEK.TECH", a developer in the field of IoT, energy and electronic component base products (the companies are part of the "NEK" industrial Group).
