"Mosеlektroshchit" opened a new workshop for the production of busbars and began construction of the third stage of production
"Moselektroshchit" (part of the "NEK" industrial Group) is increasing the volume of production of electrical products in the Vladimir region. Today, the city of Kovrov hosted the grand opening of a new workshop for the production of busbars. The event was attended by: Vladimir Region Governor Alexander Avdeev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Mikhail Ivanov, Head of the City of Kovrov Sergey Sidorin, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Advisor to the General Director of JSC "NEK" Dmitry Filatov, General Director of "Moselektroshchit" LLC Nikolay Shemyakin.
The new workshop is equipped with modern production lines that allow for the automation of production processes. The production capacity is designed to produce 12 thousand meters of busbars per year.
The construction for "Moselektroshchit" was carried out by" EnergoSet", which is part of the engineering holding "eV-Group". As the company's management notes, thanks to the coordinated work of the "Moselektroshchit" and "EnergoSe"t teams, it was possible to achieve all the goals set within the project and complete the work on time. The general contractor paid special attention to ensuring that the new workshop complied with modern industrial and environmental safety requirements.
Following the launch of production, a ceremony was held to lay the first stone in the foundation of the third stage of "Moselektroshchit" production. Complete distribution switchgear (KRU) and low-voltage complete devices (NKU) will be assembled in the workshop under construction. By 2030, the enterprise plans to reach its design capacity and produce up to 3 000 units of new cabinet products per year.
"Russia is currently undergoing a major modernization of the energy complex, and the Vladimir Region is becoming an active participant in these grandiose processes, a bearer of unique practices that are so necessary for strengthening the technological sovereignty of our country. In the modern world, it is important not to lose momentum. Kovrov is one of the three arms capitals of Russia and a center of mechanical engineering - it is building up its potential in the electrical engineering industry, without which it is impossible to implement projects in any other area. Our task is to make Kovrov even more comfortable, beautiful, interesting, so that new specialists come here, business grows, and students stay to live and work," emphasized Alexander Avdeev.
"With the launch of the new "Moselektroshchit" site, we can confidently say that the plant is becoming the flagship of the domestic industry for the production of busbar trunking systems, five types of which are already included in the Register of Russian Industrial Products. But this is not the only area of work of the MosElektroshchit plant, they are also implementing a project to localize the production of complete switchgear up to 35 kV, for which the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade provided state support in the amount of 140 million rubles. The electrical engineering industry is currently in a period of sustainable growth, the production volume for the past year amounted to 370 billion rubles, this is a quarter more than for the same period in 2023. The industry will continue to receive support within the framework of the national project "New Nuclear and Energy Technologies". And this plant, I hope, will be part of this large program," commented Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Mikhail Ivanov.
"Today we launched two significant events in the history of the "Moselektroshchit" enterprise, which clearly demonstrate our consistent growth, desire for innovation and confident movement forward. Expansion of production capacity is an investment in modern technologies, a guarantee of improving the quality and reliability of our products. And what is especially important is serious investment in our team: comfortable and safe working conditions have been created in the new production building, and ample opportunities have been opened for professional development and training of personnel on modern equipment,” said Dmitry Filatov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Advisor to the General Director of JSC "NEC".
“I would like to note that the development of the plant in Kovrov is largely due to the strategic support of "Moselektroshchit" from the federal, regional and municipal authorities. The result of this support and correctly invested investments will be not just a new production building, but a worthy, modern enterprise for the Vladimir region, which will make a significant contribution to the development of the country's energy industry, and our employees will find a reliable employer with growth prospects here,” said Nikolay Shemyakin, General Director of the enterprise.
For almost 80 years, "Moselektroshchit" has been creating reliable equipment for the largest energy facilities in Russia. In 2024, the enterprise became part of the NEC industrial Group. Today, the focus is on modernizing production. The enterprise has formed a high-tech complex that ensures a full cycle of manufacturing complete switchgear units with SF6 gas.
