"Moselektroshchit" Delivers Equipment for New Oncology Building in Skolkovo
Specialists from " Moselektroshchit " (part of the "NEK" Industrial Group) are completing a key stage of work to provide power supply to the new operating and intensive care building of the Moscow City Oncology Hospital No. 62.
A block transformer substation (BKTP) with a capacity of 2000 kVA has been delivered to the territory of the International Medical Cluster (IMC) in Skolkovo. Technicians are currently working on connecting it to the city's power grid.
The new medical building, with an area of over 12,000 square meters, will become a key center for providing high-tech care to cancer patients. It is designed for 26 beds and will include a modern operating block with 18 operating rooms, as well as a resuscitation and intensive care unit. Uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to such facilities is critically important for the operation of life-support equipment and complex surgical interventions.
The modular complete transformer substation (MCTS) installed by " Moselektroshchit " will be integrated with the first digital electrical substation in Russia, which guarantees reliable power supply to the entire complex.
“Providing healthcare facilities, especially at this level, with electricity is a special responsibility,” notes Nikolay Shemyakin, CEO of " Moselektroshchit " LLC. “Our substation fully complies with the facility’s requirements and will ensure uninterrupted operation of all medical equipment.”
According to the Moscow Government, the commissioning of the new operating and intensive care building is planned for this year.
