"Moselektroshchit" gives electric buses a charge

"Moselektroshchit" (part of the "NEK: industrial Group) has successfully completed a large-scale project to supply electrical equipment for electric bus charging stations in the Nagatinsky Zaton metro station area.

This is another project for the development of environmentally friendly transport in the capital. Specialists ensured the connection of 24 charging stations with a total capacity of 3,600 kW (3.6 MW) - one of the largest urban infrastructure facilities.

A new six-block two-transformer distribution point RTP-10/0.4 kV (2x1000 kVA), two block complete substations TP-10/0.4 kV (each 2x1000 kVA) were built and put into operation at the facility. Commercial electricity metering units were installed and modern automated information and control system for metering and power supply, telemetry, relay protection and automation were introduced.

The project required complex engineering solutions, more than 12 km of 10 kV cable lines were laid to ensure reliable power supply from the Avtozavodskaya substation, including the laying of cables using the HDD (horizontal directional drilling) method under the existing urban infrastructure in areas with a total length of more than 6 km to minimize the impact on the urban environment - these works were carried out by the Energoset company, which is part of the engineering holding eV-group. Now the new transport hub is provided with a modern, reliable and powerful charging infrastructure that meets all energy efficiency requirements and GOST standards. This will increase the number of electric bus routes.
