"NARTIS" opens new building with robotic production Lines

NARTIS
"NARTIS" Plant (part of the "NEK" Group), a leading Russian manufacturer of smart meters and charging infrastructure, opened its second production building, covering 6,600 square meters. Investment in the project totaled 2.1 billion rubles.

The opening ceremony took place on October 8, 2025. The new building was inaugurated by Alexander Mordvinov, Chairman of the Vologda Oblast Government; Vasily Shpak, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; Dmitry Filatov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "NEK" JSC; Alexander Koreshev, CEO of "NEK" JSC; Oleg Vladimirov, CEO of "NARTIS" Plant LLC; and other representatives of federal and regional authorities.

The new building is equipped with modern automated production lines, including high-speed component installers, robotic manipulators, selective soldering systems, and protective coating application systems. Quality control is carried out using artificial intelligence technologies.

"The "NARTIS" Plant's production capacity allows us to cover all stages of metering device manufacturing, from housing, surface and volume mounting of printed circuit boards, and meter assembly to final inspection of finished products and packaging. The launch of these new production lines will increase the localization rate of our high-tech metering devices. The new workshop will allow the plant to strengthen its leading position and provide consumers with modern, high-quality electricity meters," said Alexander Mordvinov, Chairman of the Vologda Region Government.

"The "NEK" Group and the "NARTIS" Plant are making a significant contribution to the development of Russian electronics. In a short period of time, we have mastered a wide range of devices, and are working to develop our own component base, including analog-to-digital converters and magnetic field sensors. The company has ambitious plans to expand production, including the construction of a printed circuit board plant and the development of new product lines. This demonstrates the dynamic development of the industry and its great potential. Revenue figures for 2024 confirm the correctness of our chosen course, but this is only an interim stage. I wish the teams of "NEK" and "Nartis" continued success and achievements. I would also like to congratulate the Vologda Region, which is rapidly becoming one of the leaders in the Russian electronics industry. "Godspeed!" said Vasily Shpak, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

""NEK" Group is systematically developing technological and production areas focused on the pressing challenges of the energy and industrial sectors. The "NARTIS" plant is a clear example of how strategic investments, modern technologies, and a professional team shape successful production projects. I am confident that the implementation of this line of business will lay the foundation for a new direction for the Group's development and strengthen its position in the industry, contributing to the development of domestic industry and increasing the competitiveness of Russian technologies," noted Dmitry Filatov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "NEK".

"The opening of new lines is not simply an expansion of production capacity. "This is a strategic step for us, enabling us to further automate processes and guarantee a high level of quality for our customers. Today, "NARTIS" already holds a leading position in the smart metering segment, and the launch of this facility will allow us to consolidate our leadership and lay the groundwork for further technological development," emphasized Oleg Vladimirov, CEO of "NARTIS" Plant LLC.

The first production building of the "NARTIS" Plant opened in 2022. Construction of the two buildings was carried out by EnergoSet.

"NARTIS" Plant produces over 2 million meters annually, as well as microcontrollers, microchips, communication modules, data transmission devices, and charging stations for electric vehicles. The plant's competitive advantage is its high level of localization of its meters. According to SPARK-Interfax, the company is among the top four largest companies in the Vologda Region by revenue and ranks first in the Northwestern Federal District according to Delovoy Peterburg. The company employs approximately 1,000 people.
