The Scientific and Technical Center "NEK.TECH" (part of the industrial Group "NEK") has developed embedded software for the protection and automation device of the UNIT-M300 series for use in highly automated substations of various architectures.

All software developed by "NEK.TECH" for the protection and automation device of the UNIT-M300 series is included in the Register of Russian Software of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation. Inclusion of software in the Register opens up the possibility of using devices in the energy sector of Russia.

The developed software is intended for the operation of all types of modules included in the protection and automation device of the UNIT-M300 series.
The software "NEK.TECH" provides:
- continuous monitoring of all hardware and software components of the device;
- intermodule exchange of information containing settings, commands and statuses with the central processor module of the device;
- measurement and digital processing of electrical network parameters.

UNIT-M300 is a series of modern high-tech protection and automation devices that are manufactured in various functional modifications at the Russian enterprise "Unitel Engineering" (the company is also part of the "NEK" industrial Group). An example of the application of the UNIT-M300 series devices is a centralized arc fault protection (ZDZ) complex, manufactured in accordance with STO 56947007 33.040.20.295 2019 "Technical requirements for arc protection of 6-35 kV switchgear cells" of PJSC "Rosseti".

Software developments of the "NEK.TECH" scientific and technical center allow us to work ahead of the curve and create innovative solutions for the energy sector together with Russian equipment manufacturers. Today, UNIT-M300 series devices allow creating universal solutions with a wide range of applications at energy facilities in accordance with current requirements of regulatory documentation for highly automated substations of various construction architectures of PJSC Rosseti.
