"NTZMK" has begun shipping 15,000 tons of metal structures for the Novolenskaya TPP in Yakutia
"The Nizhny Tagil Plant of Metal Structures" ("NTZMK"), part of the "NEK" industrial Group, has begun large-scale shipment of metal structures for the construction of the Novolenskaya TPP. The facility, located 15 kilometers from the city of Lensk in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), will become a key source of stable energy supply for the region.
The total volume of structures to be shipped is 15,000 tons. The project is being carried out in the Far North, where the remoteness of the TPP and the harsh climate create serious logistical challenges, especially when transporting large-sized cargo.
The materials are delivered along complex routes that change depending on the season. In winter, the main route is the 836-kilometer winter road from Ust-Kut, which requires the use of special equipment. In summer, with the opening of navigation, priority is given to river transport, which follows a 923-kilometer route along the Lena River.
The General Director of "NTZMK" LLC, Evgeny Ivlev, emphasized that the implementation of projects in the conditions of the Far North requires not only high-quality metal structures, but also professionalism in organizing logistics. "We are confident that thanks to the coordinated work of our team and partners, the entire volume of metal structures will be delivered on time and will ensure the continuous construction of such a strategically important energy facility for the region and the country as Novolenskaya TPP," he noted.
The timely delivery of metal structures is critically important for the launch of Novolenskaya TPP. The facility will increase the reliability of the region's energy system and will become the basis for its further development.
