Enhim LLC closes import position for Inter RAO Group
From April to June 2024, Enhim LLC, part of the NEC industrial group, delivered 86,480 kg of fire-resistant turbine oil to a number of power plants belonging to the Inter RAO Group. This delivery was made under an offset agreement and the implementation of an individual support and development map signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2023.
Thus, Inter RAO Group has begun the import substitution of fire-resistant hydraulic fluid for turbine regulation and lubrication systems with a capacity of over 200 MW.
The established production of fire-resistant turbine oil in Russia is a step towards import substitution of critically important materials for the energy sector. Subsequently, this will ensure the reliable operation of Inter RAO Group power plants and reduce dependence on import supplies.
The agreement between Inter RAO and Enhim LLC is an example of successful cooperation between Russian companies in import substitution matters. The agreement provides for the localization of production in the Russian Federation with investment commitments of 800 million rubles and the creation of new jobs. By 2028, orders for oil are expected to be formed in the annual volume of the Inter RAO Group's companies' need for this product, which is estimated at 2.8 billion rubles.
*Fire-resistant turbine oil based on trixylenyl phosphate, intended for use as a lubricant and hydraulic fluid in the lubrication and regulation systems of turbosets using high-parameter steam.
