"Unitel Engineering" has strengthened the energy sector of a gold mining region
"Unitel Engineering" took part in a large-scale reconstruction of the power grid infrastructure for the development of production in Krasnoyarsk Krai, one of the largest gold mining regions in Russia.
As part of the project, at the 220 kV Amikan substation, the company's specialists delivered and supervised the adjustment of power supply cabinets for the communication system, installed cabinets for internal communication equipment, installed thermal cabinets with DECT equipment for external placement, delivered sets of subscriber equipment and control and measuring devices for organizing operational negotiations.
According to Vladimir Railyan, Director of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Dispatch Office, the development of the energy infrastructure will become a key driver of growth for the region's gold mining industry. "The reconstruction of the grid complex and the introduction of a new power supply center will ensure reliable power supply, a stable level of production and expand the possibilities for gold ore mining in Krasnoyarsk Krai," he noted.
As a result of the modernization, it is planned to increase production at the open-pit mining site and launch a new processing plant with a capacity of up to 2 million tons of ore per year.
