"Unitel Engineering" (part of the "NEC" Group) equipped "Rosseti Volga" with telecommunications infrastructure at the new 220 kV Chapayevskaya substation. The power facility was built as part of the modernization of Saratov Distribution Grids and plays a strategic role in ensuring a reliable power supply to the region.
The Cheboksary plant supplied enclosure-based telecommunications equipment and performed a full range of commissioning work.
The new 200 MW Chapayevskaya substation will supply electricity to Sber's largest data center in Russia, located in Balakovo. The data center is critical for the operation of more than 12,000 digital services used annually. The construction of the data center has given impetus to the innovative development of the Saratov region and created many new jobs.
