Unitel Engineering participates in the modernization of the railway infrastructure of Udokan Mining and Metallurgical Company
"Unitel Engineering" (part of the "NEK" industrial Group) has completed its participation in a project to modernize the railway infrastructure at the Udokan mining and metallurgical plant in the Zabaikalsky Krai. The work is aimed at increasing the volume of ore mining and processing.
"Unitel Engineering" specialists have implemented a range of technical solutions, including connecting equipment to a guaranteed power supply, organizing a high-speed fiber-optic communication line (FOCL), and integrating communication equipment into the unified technological communication system of Russian Railways.
Specialized cabinets for the equipment of transport communication systems (SHOTS) were delivered and installed at the facility, ensuring the functioning of telephone communication channels, dispatch telephony, telemetry, high-speed data transmission, and other critical communication systems.
Thanks to the modernization, an increase in annual ore production volumes from 12 million tons to 15 million tons is expected, as well as an increase in copper concentrate production from 135 thousand tons to 150 thousand tons.
This project confirms the high competence of "Unitel Engineering" in the field of comprehensive modernization of transport infrastructure and the implementation of modern telecommunications solutions for mining enterprises. The company consistently develops competencies aimed at improving the efficiency and safety of production processes in a complex infrastructure.
